FAQS
How much is the deposit? There’s a $700 deposit, and the balance is not due until the fall.
How much will the rooms cost? Depending on accomodation, anywhere from $1900 to $4000. We will publish the individual room rates within the next couple of months. For now, all you need is a deposit to hold your space.
What time does the retreat start and end?
The retreat starts at 5pm on Dec 29th, 2024 and ends at 8am on Jan 4th, 2025, local time.
Who can attend?
Everyone! Beginners. Anyone wanting to learn Vedic Meditation. Even experienced meditators who don’t enjoy their practice.
Who should not attend?
Anyone who is not interested or unwilling to participate in the meditation instruction and daily inspirational talks. Anyone who is not able to go the entire week without consuming alcohol. Those who find it difficult to be in natural environments (where you may cross paths with a spider, mosquito, or some other bug from time to time).
How much meditation will I have to do?
Just a few hours of instruction a day. And there will be plenty of free time to hang, swim, get spa treatments, and enjoy the location.
When should I plan to arrive at the center?
If you are traveling across multiple time zones, we recommend you fly into Puerto Vallarta a day or two earlier to accommodate jet lag and settle in before the retreat starts.
How do you assign the rooms?
Rooms are assigned on a first-come-first-served basis, depending on when you paid your deposit. If you leave your deposit now, you will get the best selection of rooms.
What airport do I fly into?
The easiest way to reach the town where the center is located is to fly to Puerto Vallarta International Airpot (PVR), which has non-stop and connecting flights from most major US cities. The center is about a 90 minute drive from there, and we can organize the airport pick-up for you.
Who do I reach out to if I have additional questions?
You can reach out Light’s team here.
