Vol 1: Frequency
Episode 54: Show Notes.
Last week, you heard from Dr. Steven Eisenberg, who discovered the healing power of music through his work in oncology. In this week’s episode, we continue that theme with world-renowned recording artist and producer, Brandon Green, who is better known as Maejor.
At the height of his career, working with top-tier artists like Mary J. Blige, T-Payne, Drake, and Justin Bieber, Maejor was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia. This was a turning point for him. While he imagined that he would eventually give back later in life by creating educational music centers for children, this diagnosis changed his timeline and instilled in him a greater sense of urgency to find his true purpose; using his music to heal.
He began creating music at 432 hertz, which he learned from the scientific community was the frequency that contained the highest healing properties. This led to an album called Vol 1: Frequency, produced as therapeutic music meant not only to be enjoyed but to heal and soothe the soul too.
In this conversation, we unpack Maejor’s journey, how he discovered his purpose to heal through music, and why we should consider listening to more music at the 432 Hz frequency rather than the standard 440 Hz frequency.
Tune in today for a powerful, candid, and inspirational conversation, with someone who is changing the music industry as we know it from the inside out!

Tweetables:
“When I'm supposed to meet someone, it naturally unfolds and it comes from multiple directions, which also connects in my mind as some type of frequency resonance.” — @MAEJOR [0:22:12]
“I was thinking from a financial perspective, using the money I was making from music. I liked to try to make a hit song and get some money from it because my vision was, initially, to try to build something positive using that money. That shifted along the way.” — @MAEJOR [0:31:34]
“[My diagnosis] shifted everything, because it changed my timeline. That made me look a little bit quicker at how I can have an impact and not necessarily thinking about something I could do when I'm an old man.” — @MAEJOR [0:53:24]
“I wasn't even planning to meet anyone to do with music. I was thinking about consciousness and technology. Then I met people who mirrored to me what the yoga people were saying, but from a science perspective.” — @MAEJOR [1:01:08]
“I'm happy to inspire the idea of consciously choosing a frequency with the intention to provide some gift, or better resonance, or harmony to the listener.” — @MAEJOR [1:05:54]
